Check the links to the right of this
page for meet entry instructions and a guide to new parents--what to expect
at swim meets, etc. Also the USA-Swimming rule book,
and a link to the Capital City Summer League website, and the league's "In-season Meet Guide"--how CCSL meets are to be run.
The links on the left are to the meet entry page, and the volunteer sign-up
page. When the meets are "open" you can select the events your child is to
swim, or simply declare participation, and the coach will decide. Remember
that the coach has final approval of individual entries, and will also make
up the relay teams.
Parent volunteers work both home meets and away meets, so while you're
signing up your swimmers, you need to sign up to work at the meet and
support the team.
Let's make 2016 the best summer swim season ever!

HSC swimmers return to Circle C for one last meet before Champs.
This one should be another large meet, including Shady Hollow--again!
Bring water and sunscreen, it's gonna be hot! MeetMobile and MeetBop
are expected, so have your phones ready.

Congrats to the HSC swimmers and volunteers who took on the challenge.
This was a big one, with Granada Hills, Shady Hollow, and Texas
School for the Deaf. The weather was great until it got hot! MeetMobile has
results as well.

Back to Circle C and this time with another round of competition that includes
Belterra. We're hoping the
weather cooperates; we seem to be the monsoon season.

The 2016 CCSL season continues with a meet at Belterra with Shady Hollow
joining in the fun. This meet won't be quite as large as the last, but
the Belterra pool is longer--25 meters, to be exact, so the swims will
be longer. Newer swimmers will definitely notice the difference when they've
swum 25 yards, and the end of the pool isn't there yet. We're hoping the
weather cooperates; we seem to be in the rainy season.

Meet 1 at Circle C (5/21)

The 2016 CCSL season kicked off with a meet at Circle C. Also participating
in this meet were Granada Hills/Western Oaks, and Texas School for the Deaf,
a total of 520 swimmers. Many new swimmers enjoyed their first taste of
competition. And returning swimmers had a chance to see how many of their
times improved from last year.

CCSL "Championship" Composite Times
Since there was no championship final as originally planned, a composite of times achieved at the
3 dual meets of June 27 was compiled, and on that basis awards
comparable to the places at a championship meet were awarded.
